Marcy Syms was a member of the Selection Committee for the 24th annual Future Women of Distinction Awards hosted by the Girl Scouts  on October 25th, 2016. Each year an award is given to one Ambassador Girl Scout in New York City who represents the ideals inherent in Girl Scouting through her participation and commitment to community service, high academic achievement, leadership skills and ability to communicate the values of Girl Scouting.
