Marcy Syms was honored alongside Prisca Bae\, Deborah Santana\, and Jules Spector. \nFounded in 1970\, the Feminist Press is the world’s longest running women’s led publisher in the world. They’ve proudly published Zora Neale Hurston\, Michelle Tea\, Marilyn French\, Ama Ata Aidoo\, Ana Castillo\, Louise Meriwether\, Paule Marshall\, and Virginie Despentes\, to name a few! Based in NYC\, \nThe awards dinner was held at the City Winery . This year’s Gala celebrated feminists from all sectors.This years event was attended by a dynamic group of 200-250 leaders in business\, arts\, politics\, community and clutre active in support of women’s LGBTQ and diversity issues.
